Infected Figures Outside the Silent Science Lab

Create a short, ultra-realistic cinematic horror-action sequence set inside a quiet Japanese high-school science laboratory during an afternoon class. A female science teacher is demonstrating an experiment when the lights suddenly flicker and every digital display in the room turns off at the same time. A strange scratching sound comes from inside a locked storage cabinet.

The teacher cautiously approaches the cabinet, but before she can open it, the glass windows violently shake. One student notices dark handprints appearing on the outside of the glass even though there is nobody there. The classroom door suddenly slams shut and locks itself.

The teacher tells everyone to stay calm and uses a metal laboratory stand to force the door open. Just as the students begin escaping into the hallway, one of the emergency lights reveals several infected figures standing motionless at the far end of the corridor.

The students rush back into the laboratory and quickly push tables against the entrance. The teacher discovers that the infected are reacting to sound, so everyone becomes completely silent. A student accidentally drops a glass beaker.

The sound echoes through the hallway.

All the infected figures slowly turn toward the laboratory.

The teacher raises one finger, silently telling everyone not to move. The camera slowly pushes toward the barricaded door as dozens of footsteps begin approaching from outside. The screen cuts to black just before the door starts shaking violently.
